Well-lit money, if you will.
While I have doggedly supported politicians in the past, I have never, ever donated a single dollar to any such person. Sorry, but I am not your ATM.
Then this guy, Rob Bresnahan knocked off a democrat in the 8th congressional district setting off a dark money assault of epic proportions. From day one the Pennsylvania Accountibility Fund has been slandering him on a daily basis. Being a non-profit organization rather than a political action committee it can hide the sources of it's funding. Hence, the "dark money" can roll in from people not associated with the 8th congressional district.
The Accountability site lists four problem politicians; three republicans and one democrat who occasionally crosses party lines. According to them (whoever they are) we do away with four people and it's lollipops, rainbows and communist manifestos from here on out. Whoopie!
So, it's most likely George Soros vs. Rob Bresnahan. Therein lies the reason I upped and donated 50 bucks to Bresnahan. Yep, broke my own rule in spite of being annoyed with losing my favorite local television personality. And I regretted having done so almost immediately when every republican in the non-united states and far-flung territories started hounding me for cashola. Sorry kiddies, this is a local thing with a local guy.
I've never had any problem with the party myrmidon from Scranton, what's her name, Bidenetti? But, enough is enough with the phoney baloney "insider trading" campaign already. Got an idea or a plan?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Anyway, prevarication and deception always set me off. And I'm done with the political donation bit.
Markie is tapped out.
